Why be selfish?

We see selfishness in everyone. We are selfish sometimes because we care about ourselves. But, don’t you think we should be more tolerant towards others around us? Is it wrong to sacrifice? Is it that painful to forgive and forget?

Our lives do not just revolve around us. Think about others; your friends and your family. Is it that difficult to lend a helping hand when someone’s in trouble? Is it that hard to understand a friend’s difficult situation when she could not help but to neglect her obligations due to unforeseen circumstances? Why do we have to blame others?

I couldn’t understand why some people care more about themselves. Like the time and space belong to them. They give excuses like “I’m very busy” or “Why must I do everything” when they were busy studying for exams. I know. I care about exams, too. But we should understand when someone asks for your help, they really can’t manage everything that was given to them. Don’t they understand the term ‘caring and sharing’?

The other matter I’m not happy about is the act of whispering behind backs. I still can’t see the reason of it. If you want to share a secret, just e-mail or text. Seeing these people really suffocates me.

I know some people may be affected by my words. As stated above, this is my space of freedom. Obviously I can’t say all these in front of your faces, or else WWIII will occur. If you’re unhappy, don’t read. ^^
